Gas 2.0

Gas 2.0

Sound Off: What Do You Want to Read on Gas 2.0?

On Monday, I said that as the new Managing Editor, I wanted more reader input. Like, a lot more. So here is your chance to tell the kinds of stories you want to read about.

Lately, it’s felt like I’ve done a lot of writing regarding electric vehicles, which makes sense. The Chevy Volt and Nissan Leaf have just started getting delivered, and Ford has just released the first official details on the Focus Electric due out later this year. But there is more to just green transportation than electric cars, right? Beyond the other alternative fuels like biodiesel, ethanol, and natural gas, there are efficient planes, boats, and trains. With snow on the ground here in New England, I’ve also gotten to thinking about green ways to get around in the winter like electric snowmobiles and snowboarding. Hey, I like snowboarding.

But keeping a green blog is about more than that. I want to talk to other people (even I get tired of my own writing sometimes), but I’m not quite sure where to start. There are plenty of places on the Internet to talk amateur alternative fuel fans who have taken matters into their own hands and converted their own vehicles to green fuels. Then there are of course professionals, people who went to school and have been in the business for years. Indeed, Gas 2.0 used to do a lot more in the way of interviews, but it’s been a while. I’d like to bring it back, so tell me, who should I approach first? And about what?

So there you have it. What do you want to read about, and who should I try to interview in the coming weeks? Sound off in the comments section.
